I thought it was high time I made one of these.
Because I wanted the layout to stay symmetric, and that all the clues appear in pairs, and that the clues in a pair have a difference of 1, forcing uniqueness was tricky and the puzzle ended up being a lot easier than what I was going for. Oh well.
Regular Cave rules.
Not too easy, a good challenge.
I’ve been doing many of your puzzles recently (I found your xkcd thread too) and enjoy your construction style.
Maybe you could write a LMI or GP round one day? š

Ahhhh comments like these make me so happy, thank you!
Have you visited my Perplexible page yet? http://perplexible.com/author/ardeej/
The later puzzles I posted there are some of my favourites.
I’ve also got some of my puzzles posted on the GMPuzzles blog: http://www.gmpuzzles.com/blog/2015/01/tapa-unique-clues-tapio-saarinen/ That puzzle there is probably the best puzzle I’ve made.
And I have actually thought of running (a round in) a puzzle contest, but it has always seemed like something that only more well-known and prolific authors do. I’ll start considering it!
